Ancestry Terracotta Vase

The Ancestry Terracotta Vase is handmade in Bagru, India using traditional pottery wheels and wood fired kilns. The Pranjapati is an artisan specialized in making ceramics - creates the intricate texture by wrapping it in a coarse textured cloth and applying pressure to transfer the textural weave into the clay. Each piece will have subtle differences in finish and these variations are part of the handmade appeal. Unglazed terracotta is porous and should not be used to hold water.
