This vintage pedestal pot hails from Asia and was likely once used for storing grain, a daily object shaped by hands that understood both need and longevity. Its rounded belly and raised foot give it a sculptural presence, while the dark, earthy glaze—worn soft with age—tells a story of use, time, and fire. Subtle incised banding circles the form, adding texture and rhythm without ever asking for attention.
